So, the alcatel is great for watching TV same aspect ratio and YouTube clips etc. The text is large and clear and although the resolution is not HD, you would not be able to tell the difference between this and an HD screen, except perhaps under a strong magnifying glass. Texting is a breeze. This is my first smartphone and whereas before it took me about 5 minutes to write a couple of short sentences on my old phone, now it takes me about 20 seconds, thanks to the phone's intuitive predictive suggestions.
