Hangouts Meet
Great features, clear video and sound, silencing mode, slide sharing, etc It got everything you ever needed and easy to use. Installs but doesn't work on iPhone 5 Mar 22, We use Hangouts Meet a lot for team calls. Typically it works great. I recently tried it on iPhone 5 and it installed fine but would not launch. Have latest supported updates IOS Not sure what else to do. Wish Google would fix the issue. Video was good. However audio not so good. The problem is that there are no options to choose audio routing in the app.
I'm using an Android One phone Nokia 7. However this did not happen on my device. So I ended up with audio coming from headphones and speaker. No volume controls worked and I've no idea whether the headphone or device mic was used.
Maybe it's my particular device Almost everything about this App works really well. Joining a scheduled meeting is effortless. Please consider making that button stay put, at least during sessions with lots of participants, or with telephone participants. Good stuff, thanks. Count such a bad thing it was a special ordered cam and key broard that is still out there some where hacking me.
I actually like this app. We use for the corona virus and it really helped us check in on each other. It was really organized and it was fun. Maybe my class is just better than other classes.

Great app for me Mar 22, Show All. Chaotic, laggy, plain unorganized. Do not get this. I was excited the first time I saw this app, now I know I'm being led to dread whenever I see it. Its just crazy to the limits. That morning I had art class, I couldn't hear anything and even when I could it was bad quality. I had to sit there for about four hours listening to the disturbing sounds of people shouting and voices lagging.

The video and audio quality is absolutely horrendous. I can understand anything my teacher is doing since their screen cuts out and we can see what they are writing. When I pin their screen the video goes away and all we see is their profile picture and hear the audio and even that is bad. The camera cuts over half of what you see in real life.
All my classmates were seeing different angles, all of it, none of it, some of or simply only have the audio. If I could give this 0 stars I would. Sincerely, A very upset student. Happy to update review once fixed, but I hope you see this feedback to help fix a big issue.

Note 8 using airpods. If I am on a call using meet and then an incoming cell call comes, my airpod pros lose connection with the meet app even if I decline the call and to fix it I need to turn Bluetooth off and on again. Please fix :.

Glitchy Mar 22, I was trying to do my homework and then all of a sudden my computer camera turned on. I was not even on the app! I was so upset, that I contacted google telling them that hackers have gotten into my webcam by using their app. They have brushed off my email as if nothing happened! I am very upset with google and I do no plan on ever using another one of their products or websites. This is an outrage! Then I might change my review. But until then this problem is an invasion of privacy! Was having a high hope until i found out that screen sharing from android devices is missing yet the option is there for IOS.
What a shame since Google owns Android. Would rate more than 5 stars if the option is there since I'm working with android devices with stylus and phone connectivity that enables me to be connected anytime anywhere. Hangouts Meet seemed perfect for me to conduct training but this issue is a major let down.
